Marcus Mariota has been one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks in fantasy this year and has consistently frustrated his owners. Yet, as it turns out, Mariota's actually having a season for the record books despite being a fantasy dud.

Despite the terrible fantasy numbers he's put up this season, Mariota's still completing 70.3 percent of his passes. If he can keep up his completion rate, the fourth-year quarterback will finish the year on the top-10 all-time list for highest completion percentage in a season.

That's some pretty impressive company to keep too. Now, if only completion percentage could give you fantasy points.

Mariota's new-found accuracy should be encouraging to his owners and definitely gives him a tremendous amount of upside. I mean, judging by the numbers Cousins, Brees and Ryan have put up this season, his high completion percentage has to translate to fantasy production at some point, right?
