Despite whispers and reports claiming this year may be Urban Meyer's final season as the Ohio State head coach, it appears Meyer has found a change of heart following Saturday's 62-39 beatdown over rival Michigan.

And there's nothing that puts the end to rumors quite like a quote from straight from the horse's mouth that negates them.

Leading up to Saturday's battle in Columbus, it seemed like all of the pieces were in place for Meyer's rival in Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh to finally get the better of him in his fourth try against Meyer's Buckeyes.

But after Ohio State ran away with it by 23 points and hung 62 points on Harbaugh's Wolverine defense, Meyer quelled Ohio State fans' concerns about his health prompting him to step down.

Sorry Harbaugh, but it looks like Michigan and its fans will have to keep waiting at least another year until the Wolverines' path to the Big Ten Championship gets a little easier without Meyer in the picture.
