Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. He had a hamstring injury that resurfaced earlier this week, but head coach Anthony Lynn felt like Gordon's knee ailment was a bigger concern.

Many people around the Chargers feel like they could potentially hold Gordon out in a very winnable game against the Cardinals, and if that is the case, pass-catching back Austin Ekeler could be in line for big production.

Whether it's Gordon or Ekeler, one of the two are in line for a big game against a Cardinals defense allowing the fourth-most FanDuel fantasy points per game (27.2) to running backs. And they'll have to get it done on the ground, as Arizona allows the fourth-most rushing yards (141.5) and fourth-fewest passing yards per game (218.2) this season.

It's worth noting that Ekeler had two of his four-highest rushing-yardage games when given 10 or more carries.

The situation is certainly worth monitoring all the way up to kickoff, considering the Chargers just lost a game last week at home -- a matchup they were supposed to easily win against the Denver Broncos.
