Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Alex Collins were both held out of Thursday's practice. Flacco is still dealing those nagging hip issues, but Collins' foot injury is a bit more concerning since he wasn't out there even on a limited basis.

It's unfortunate for fantasy owners of either player since the Ravens will be taking on the hapless Oakland Raiders this Sunday, but it's also a great opportunity for rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson to take another positive step going forward. He finished last week's win against the Cincinnati Bengals with an incredible 119 rushing yards.

This will also be a great chance for rookie running back Gus Edwards to build off his impressive 115-yard rushing performance against the Bengals that also included a touchdown. Last week, Edwards had more than double the carries that Collins did, so that'll certainly bode well for the rookie if he has the backfield all to himself. Not to mention, the Raiders are allowing the eighth-most FanDuel fantasy points per game (25.7) to running backs this season.

Nothing is set in stone yet with Flacco and Collins for Sunday, but we'll be keeping an eye on this situation all the way up to kickoff.
