Philadelphia Eagles running back Josh Adams went undrafted this past spring, leaving Notre Dame after his junior year.

According to SB Nation's Joshua Vowles, he wouldn't have been surprised to see Adams come off the board in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, injuries kept him off most teams' draft boards, but now it looks like Adams is finally getting some respect.

Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood were in line to take over at running back when Jay Ajayi went down for the season but they never did enough to stand out. Because of that, here's the trend we've seen:

Not only have we seen Adams take over a large share of the backfield, but he's been one of the Eagles' most explosive offensive weapons.

If Adams on your waiver wire, you definitely want to snag him right away.
