The Chicago Bears find themselves atop of the NFC North with a 6-3 record and, while their defense has dominated opponents this year, a lot of their success has to do with head coach Matt Nagy's impressive play-calling and Mitchell Trubisky's execution on offense.

Nagy and Trubisky are developing a notable offensive connection in their first year together. In fact, Nagy's play-calling ability has actually been elevating Trubisky's play to an MVP level, adding about 0.1 points per drop back to the young quarterback's Pro Football Focus grade.

Chicago's head coach has clearly been a huge factor in his team's improved offensive output, but that's no knock on Trubisky's ability in any way. The second-year QB definitely deserves credit all his own considering he's the one executing Nagy's offense.

Nagy and Trubisky's synergy has turned a once-hapless Bears squad into a divisional contender and, perhaps, even Super Bowl contender this year. Through Week 10, Chicago owns a 6-3 record against the spread and looks primed to improve that mark as long as the Nagy-Trubisky connection keeps clicking.
