It's hard to tell which storyline has more dominantly defined Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver John Ross' career as a football player: constantly injured or fastest wideout in NFL Draft combine history.

Unfortunately for Ross, Bengals fans and his fantasy owners alike, that narrative took a hard turn toward the former after learning the former first-round pick is expected to miss a few weeks with a groin injury.

It's hard to show us all what that 4.22-second, 40-yard dash time can really do when Ross can't even run with an injured groin, but this has become a serious issue ever since he was drafted from Washington in 2017.

Since the Bengals used the No. 9 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft on Ross, the fastest player in NFL combine history's injuries have limited him to playing only eight of 23 total games possible for Cincinnati – three in 2017 and five so far in 2018.

It goes without saying that adding yet another injury issue to Ross' résumé suggests his biggest problem won't be going away any time soon this season either.
