Paddy Power has updated their MLB World Series odds and it's no surprise to see the defending champs from the American and National Leagues sitting atop the latest list.
The red-hot Milwaukee Brewers have the highest increase in the odds since the playoffs opened, going from +1200 to +350. The Brew Crew just capped off a sweep of the Rockies yesterday at Coors Field and will now be heading to the National League Championship Series, awaiting the winner of the Atlanta Braves-Los Angeles Dodgers affair.
The Boston Red Sox and New Yankees are tied at one game apiece as they continue their Divisional Round matchup this evening. It's actually the Yanks that have seen the second-highest increase, going from +1200 to +550.
The Colorado Rockies have been knocked out of the playoffs and the Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians are one game away from elimination, currently possessing the worst odds to win the World Series tied at +2000.
