It's hard to believe that an entire quarter of the 2018-19 NFL season has already come and gone, but that's neither here nor there.

Because it's time to stop dwelling on the past and start living in the future by taking a look at the Week 5 NFL betting lines hot off the wire from the FanDuel Sportsbook.

The New England Patriots are sitting pretty as -10.5-point favorites over the Indianapolis Colts, which is most likely a product of the 38-7 beatdown Tom Brady and the Pats put on the previously undefeated Miami Dolphins in New England last Sunday. Not to mention, Colts star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is a questionable start with multiple injuries as they head into the Thursday night game.

The San Francisco 49ers are also an interesting -4.5-point favorite over the reeling Arizona Cardinals after the 49ers lost their star quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to an ACL tear in Week 3. The Cardinals are arguably the worst team in the NFL right now, but rookie QB Josh Rosen could be primed for a breakout any week now.

For seemingly the first time this season since Week 1, rising star QB Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs aren't featured in the biggest over/under game total. That honor goes to the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers at home this week. The Steelers defense has been far from what we're used to this season, but both Atlanta and Pittsburgh's offenses have been making up for the defensive slack.

It'll be another interesting one in professional football this weekend, but make sure to keep an eye out for a few of these lines early before something looks completely different Sunday afternoon.
