After three weeks of barely registering on the fantasy football radar, Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews has asked for his release.

The wideout, who has led the team in receiving in each of the last two seasons, finds himself in a non-starter's role now behind Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor.

This screams typical diva wide receiver, but it's a first for Matthews. The wideout could find success if he ends up, let's say, with the Patriots, who showed interest in him two years ago before ultimately bringing in Chris Hogan.

The right landing spot could mean a lot to his future fantasy success. Keep an eye out for Matthews' release and where he ultimately ends up. He could make a nice waiver find and bye-week plug in for the coming weeks.
