The Cleveland Browns are far from the only ones whose patience has run thin for fantasy stud and star wide receiver Josh Gordon.

After the Browns announced they would be releasing Gordon on Monday barring a trade, countless fantasy owners joined Cleveland as those who got burned yet again – for about the fifth time – for taking a risk on Gordon.

But there's still fantasy hope.

When you really take a second to think about it, a healthy and present Josh Gordon being dropped into an underwhelming and star-less Dallas Cowboys wide receiving corps could be the best situation imaginable for his fantasy owners.

That's not to say teaming up with Jimmy Garoppolo in San Francisco as a go-to weapon would be a bad pairing either. As bizarre as this sounds, the Browns' receiving picture was beginning to look a little crowded anyway, with Jarvis Landry as the firm WR1, rookie Antonio Callaway catching some eyes and murmurs of adding Dez Bryant soon too.

This could be a blessing in disguise for both Gordon and fantasy owners alike.
