As his fantasy owners will tell you, Travis Benjamin didn't exactly have the best start to his 2018 season. Despite being on the field for 47 offensive snaps, the seven-year veteran caught just one of his five targets for a single yard and logged 19 rushing yards on his only attempt of the afternoon.

It was a disappointing fantasy performance, to say the least, but Benjamin's owners may have to wait to see if he can bounce back. According to ESPN's Eric Williams, Benjamin was seen wearing a walking boot on his right foot at Chargers practice Wednesday.

Benjamin is a speedy receiver that's capable of getting behind opposing defenses on any given down. However, the news should only seriously concern his owners in the deepest of PPR leagues.

Despite his game-breaking potential, Benjamin doesn't see enough volume to be a consistent fantasy performer on a weekly basis, especially since reception-machine Keenan Allen is usually the go-to target for Phillip Rivers.
