With Mark Ingram suspended for the first four games of the season, there are two things that are true about the Saints fantasy wise. 1. Alvin Kamara is an even better pick up than he was last season and 2. People will be clamoring to pick up whoever replaces Ingram's share of the carries.

Well as of right now it looks like everyone will be clamoring for Jonathan Williams.

Terrance West was Williams main competition for the third running back roster spot and with West now released it all but guarantees Williams will be the running back alongside Kamara in the opener.

Williams hasn't been particularly impressive in his two-year NFL career, recording just 94 career rushing yards, all with the Bills in 2016. But he's looked solid this preseason and ran for 1,190 yards and 12 TD in his last full year at Arkansas.

Of course remember that all this just means Williams will have value during the first four weeks of the season, not that he's replacing Ingram entirely or that he'll take reps away from Kamara. But he could be ripe for a late-draft snipe or an early-season waiver wire pick up. Or even an attempted trade to whoever owns Mark Ingram in your league.

Just be aware that Jonathan Williams has fantasy value and adjust accordingly.
