Over the past decade, the NFL has developed into a pass-happy league, with records in passing and receiving being broken nearly every season. And while less impressive than in years past, the 1,000-yard receiving season is still a milestone the separates the good receivers from the great ones.

A whopping 20 players reached 1,000 yards receiving last season, and there could be even more players who do so this year. With that in mind, here are three players who could hit 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in their careers.

3. Dede Westbrook, Jacksonville Jaguars

In his second season, Dede Westbrook totaled 717 yards on 101 targets with Blake Bortles throwing him the rock. Now that Nick Foles is under center, Westbrook could be in for a career year. Westbrook has the skills to be moved around, but he really thrives as a deep threat. Foles is a quarterback that loves to push the ball deep, which suggests Westbrook could make a ton of plays downfield next season. If Foles and Westbrook mesh, the wide receiver has a shot to rack up 1,000 yards in 2019.

2. Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks

Tyler Lockett played a career-high 85.0 percent of the snaps last season, as he was able to stay relatively healthy. He also proved he can be a legitimate go-to option for Russell Wilson both down the field and over the middle. Lockett racked up 965 yards last season, and with Doug Baldwin out of the picture, the Kansas State product could earn his first 1,000-yard season.

1. Dante Pettis, San Francisco 49ers

Injuries to himself and Jimmy Garoppolo hindered Dante Pettis' rookie season, as he finished with 467 yards in 12 games. However, Pettis flashed some serious talent in limited action last season. Pettis tallied at least 77 yards in three of his final five games in 2018, adding three touchdowns during that span. With Garoppolo set to return from an ACL injury, Pettis looks like a legitimate breakout candidate.
