After just eight games since returning from injury, New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton was once again placed on the 10-day injured list with a right knee sprain. He likely suffered the injury during an awkward head-first slide into third base Tuesday evening.

Clearly, it's been a frustrating 2019 season for Stanton and his fantasy owners alike. However, as is the case when any vital player loses time to injury, it's time for his owners to scour the waiver wire for a temporary replacement.

With that in mind, here are three players - owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues - who should be productive replacements for Giancarlo Stanton.

Jackie Bradley Jr. isn't known for his bat, but he's seen a huge improvement in the power department in his last 30 games. The Gold Glove centerfielder owns an excellent 1.030 OPS with five homers and 16 RBI over his last 92 at-bats. Bradley is available in 74 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and provide some solid production in Stanton's absence.

2. Garrett Cooper, 1B/OF, Miami Marlins

Garrett Cooper has been Miami's best hitter this season and hasn't shown signs that he's going to slow down any time soon. The 28-year-old outfielder has been mashing over the past month, batting .380 with five homers, 15 RBI and a 1.046 OPS in his last 92 at-bats. Cooper is still available in 73 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and should provide Stanton owners with a consistent replacement bat.

1. Chris Taylor, 2B/SS/OF, Los Angeles Dodgers

Chris Taylor has been in excellent form over the past month and should be a top-notch replacement for Stanton if he can maintain his current level of production. The Dodgers' veteran utility man is absolutely killing it at the plate right now, batting .297 with five homers and 20 RBI over his last 91 at-bats. Taylor is still available in 57 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, but has seen his ownership rightfully spike by 16 percent recently. Stanton owners would be wise to pick him up as quickly as possible.
