When healthy, A.J. Green is one of the NFL's top-tier receivers. He will officially be an unrestricted free agent come March 1, when the new league year opens.

At this point, it seems unlikely the star wideout will return to Cincinnati as the Bengals enter what looks to be a lengthy rebuild, but Green could still be a huge piece on a contending team, as long as it's in the right situation.

With that in mind, let's take a look at three teams that need to go after the veteran wide receiver this offseason.

1. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers already have one of the best receivers in the NFL in Davante Adams, but the rest of their receiving core disappointed in 2019. Geronimo Allison only managed 34 receptions 287 yards and two touchdowns, despite playing a full 16 games. Marquez Valdes-Scantling wasn't much better with 26 receptions, 452 yards and two touchdowns. Green would immediately give Aaron Rodgers and the Packers a lethal duo at wide receiver as they try to make another Super Bowl run next season.

2. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos' offense seems to be on the rise with the late-season emergence of rookie quarterback Drew Lock, and second-year wideout Courtland Sutton. Green could come in and be the veteran leader of both the receiving corps and the offense, while also adding another huge weapon for Lock. Sutton had 1,112 receiving yards last season, but beyond that, no other wideout that's still on the team had over 300. Clearly, Denver needs a solid No. 2 WR moving forward. Green could be that and more if he lands in Denver.

3. Seattle Seahawks

Yes, the Seattle Seahawks have Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, who seems to be a superstar in the making, but they did lose Josh Gordon. Green could come in and fill a similar role, also providing the Seahawks with some versatility on offense, giving Lockett a chance to move around the field. Additionally, Green's experience at the position could allow him to serve as an excellent mentor to Metcalf, who has all the talent in the world. If Seattle can make the numbers work, adding Green could make this passing attack really dangerous.
