Philadelphia Eagles' Quarterback, Carson Wentz, recently became a very wealthy man, signing a four-year, $128 million extension with $107.9 million guaranteed and $66 million due at signing. While massive, the deal was anticipated in NFL circles following Russell Wilson's contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks.

With quarterback contracts raising in price seemingly every time a new one is signed, here are three quarterbacks who are next in line for their big pay days:

Jared Goff's rookie contract (four years, $27.9 million inked back in 2016) is set to expire following the 2019 season. After combining for a 24-7 record as a regular season starter over the last two seasons, it appears the Rams are going to try and keep their young QB on the roster. While the details are still yet to be ironed out, expect Goff's asking price to be somewhere in the neighborhood of the contracts signed by Wentz and Wilson this offseason, especially considering Goff, unlike Wentz, has appeared in a Super Bowl already.

2. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

He's played just one full season as the Kansas City Chiefs' starting quarterback, and Patrick Mahomes might already be the most valuable asset in the league. Still on his rookie deal, Mahomes is coming off a season where he threw for over 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns. Mahomes will almost surely get whatever dollar amount he asks for, and it would be smart for the Chiefs to sign him to a longer deal, keeping him in Kansas City for as long as possible.

1. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott is set to make the most money he ever has in a single NFL season in 2019: a whopping $2,025,000. No, there isn't a 0 missing in that number. The Cowboys were lucky enough to have drafted Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 draft, and have kept him on his rookie deal since then. While there's been speculation about whether or not Prescott warrants a gargantuan contract extension, there is little doubt that he will receive one. Prescott has started every game under center for the Cowboys since he entered the league, posting a 32-16 regular season record in that span. If the Cowboys do not want to break the bank after this season for Prescott, another quarterback-needy team surely will.
