With the NFL Draft in the rear-view mirror and rookie minicamp underway, it's starting to feel a lot like football season – even if the calendar does say it's May. The season might not actually start for another four months, but that doesn't mean players won't find new homes before then. There are plenty of NFL teams that are surely still looking to improve their roster or get rid of a player who might not want to be there anymore.

And while we've already seen plenty of players change teams this offseason, from Odell Beckham and Antonio Brown to Frank Clark and Dee Ford, we will probably see a few more players change jerseys before the season kicks off.

With that said, here are four players that should be traded prior to the 2019 campaign.

3. Darron Lee, LB, New York Jets

Darron Lee is all but gone from the New York Jets after the team didn't pick up the linebacker's fifth-year option and signed CJ Mosley this offseason. The organization just have to find a viable trade partner and Lee will be gone. Reportedly, the Jets tried to trade Lee during the 2019 NFL Draft but no one would bite. Linebacker-needy teams like the Cincinnati Bengals or Arizona Cardinals could get him on the cheap and improve their linebacker grouping before the 2019 season.

2. Giovani Bernard, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Giovani Bernard was once the lead back in Cincinnati, but has now been relegated to back up Joe Mixon. With Cincinnati adding two more running backs (Trayveon Williams and Rodney Anderson) in the 2019 NFL Draft, the writing is on the wall for Bernard, who is in his final season under contact. The Bengals should try and get something for Bernard, even if it's a late-round pick, before the season as his career 4.2 yards per carry would surely help a team that needs a running back.

1. Patrick Peterson, CB, Arizona Cardinals

All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson wants out of his current situation. He made very public trade demands, but remains on the Cardinals' roster, likely due to the price tag the Arizona front office placed on the defensive back. Eventually this unhappy marriage is bound to come to an end. With the rebuild fully underway in the desert, flipping Peterson to a contender, for what could be a massive haul, would potentially set up the Cardinals for a bright future.
