With Chicago Cubs' closer Pedro Strop being placed on the IL with a hamstring injury, it's time to hit the waiver wire for a few viable replacements.

Whether you choose to use free-agent dollars on his potential in-house replacement or a player picking up saves on another MLB team, here are three fantasy baseball waiver wire options to help replace Strop.

Hansel Robles continues to pick up saves for the Los Angeles Angels, going 2-for-2 in save chances since April 30. While Ty Buttrey seems to be the better overall pitcher, Robles is the guy Brad Ausmus keeps giving the ball to when his team has a lead in the ninth.

2. Steve Cishek, RP Chicago Cubs

The last pitcher to record a save on the Chicago Cubs not named Strop was Steve Cishek. He has experience as a closer, with three seasons of 25 of more saves, and was used in high-leverage situations by Joe Maddon this and last season. You might want to handcuff Cishek with fellow Cubs' reliever Brandon Kintzler as he has the best numbers in the Cubs' bullpen this season.

1. Sergio Romo, RP, Miami Marlins

While the Miami Marlins don't win many games, Sergio Romo is the one picking up saves in the team's bullpen. Romo has six saves in six save opportunities this season and has no real competition for the job. In the last seven days, the right-hander has notched two saves and struck out five in three innings pitched. You could do a lot worse than Romo when it comes to replacing Strop in your fantasy lineup.
