Since entering the league in 2011, no one has more sacks than Von Miller's 106. In fact, no one is even particularly close, as Chandler Jones and J.J. Watt are tied for second place with 96.

Even the most dominant of players will have to deal with Father Time eventually, though, and Miller is no different. He missed his first game since 2013 due to a sprained MCL last season, and he's not getting any younger, entering his age-31 season.

If the Broncos want to get ahead of the matter, they could opt to draft his long-term replacement in the 2020 NFL Draft. Here are three players they could target to do just that.

1. Julian Okwara

With Bradley Chubb lining up opposite of Miller, edge rusher isn't exactly the team's most pressing need, and it's hard to imagine Denver using its first-round pick on a pass-rusher. The second or third round feels like a more likely range, and that could lead the team to target Julian Okwara. He racked up 12.5 tackles for loss and 8 sacks in 13 games in his junior season back in 2018. He only played in nine games in 2019, but he still tallied 7 TFL and 5 sacks. He's a big-time talent, and if he can stay healthy, he could be a great fit in Mile High.

2. Terrell Lewis

Another talented player with a worrisome injury history, Terrell Lewis could be a nice investment for Denver. He missed the entire 2018 campaign in Tuscaloosa, but he tallied 11.5 TFL and 6 sacks through 10 games last year. He's raw and unpolished, but he could really benefit from playing behind an all-time great like Miller.

3. Curtis Weaver

Curtis Weaver is a more NFL-ready talent than the others on this list. Over the last three seasons, he's arguably been the most productive pass-rusher in the NCAA. He racked up 47.5 TFL and 34 sacks during that span, including a 2019 campaign that saw him finish tied for the fifth-most sacks (13.5) in the NCAA. He could contribute as a rotational pass-rusher right away before eventually taking over for Miller.
