3 Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs Grizzlies NBA Playoffs Game 5 on FanDuel Sportsbook (May 11)
By Max Staley
The Memphis Grizzlies are fighting for their playoff lives against the Golden State Warriors in Game 5, but they'll have to do so without their best player, Ja Morant. With the superstar on the sidelines again, Memphis is a 4-point underdog according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
But spread bets are far from the only way to wager on this must-win game. Here are three of the best player prop bets to make heading into Game 5.
Warriors vs Grizzlies Player Props
3. Dillon Brooks - Points: Under 19.5 (-110)
Nothing is falling for Dillon Brooks right now. The 26-year-old scored just 12 points on a whopping 19 shots last game, and he's now scored fewer than 13 in both of his full appearances in this series. He's going to keep on chucking, especially with Morant out, but there's no reason to believe his shot will suddenly start falling. Memphis will try to lean on its defense and slow the game down, so don't expect a huge total from the ice-cold Brooks.
2. Jordan Poole - Points: Over 19.5 (-110)
The playoffs have been a national coming-out party for Jordan Poole. He's averaging 21.9 PPG in the postseason and has eclipsed 19 points in six of his nine appearances. He's recorded at least 20 points in three of the four games in this series, with Game 4 being the only time he's fallen under that mark. But it's hard to put too much stock into that, as the entire Warriors' offense underwhelmed, not just Poole. The 22-year-old should get back on track tonight.
1. Jaren Jackson Jr. - Made Threes: Over 2.5 (+142)
Jaren Jackson Jr. hasn't been particularly efficient, but that hasn't stopped him from firing from deep. He's taken at least 7 3-pointers in all four games in this series, sinking at least three in two of those. With Morant out, Memphis' offense is going to have to come from somewhere. Look for JJJ to take it upon himself by hoisting from beyond the arc tonight.
