Will Fuller Fantasy Outlook Continues to Rise in Week 6 Against Chiefs

After a disappointing start to the season, Will Fuller erupted in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons, catching 14 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns. He more than doubled his yardage total on the year, displaying the high-upside potential he has shown in the past with Deshaun Watson as his quarterback.
While many are wondering whether Fuller is a sell-high player or on the verge of an epic fantasy run, his Week 6 matchup is a juicy one against the Kansas City Chiefs. The game has the highest total of the week at 54.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, in a matchup of the two best quarterbacks from the 2017 NFL Draft.

While the Chiefs allow the ninth fewest fantasy points to wide receivers, that number does not tell the full story. They have been burned by similar big-play deep threats like Fuller this season, giving up nice lines to DJ Chark (4-146-1), Tyrell Williams (5-46-1) and Kenny Golladay (5-67-2). Fuller should get a good dose of deep balls against the Chiefs, as he is currently fourth in the league in air yards (542) heading into Week 6.
Fuller's outbreak in Houston's Week 5 win over Atlanta further validated his prolific chemistry with Watson, as the two have now linked up for 12 touchdowns in 15 games played together. With DeAndre Hopkins demanding attention across the field, Fuller should continue to see burnable single coverage, which he can exploit for monster fantasy production as long as he avoids the injuries that have plagued his career to date.

Following Kansas City in Week 5 are two more exploitable matchups for Fuller against the Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders, which will both be played indoors. While the injury risk is somewhat worrisome, Fuller possesses too much potential as the number two wide receiver tied to one of the league's best quarterbacks. If you have him, hold on to him, and if he's not on your team, he could be a potential buy if the opposing owner is looking to sell high on his historic Week 5 performance.
