The San Francisco 49ers take on the New England Patriots in what will be something of a revenge game for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. His 49ers are currently 2.5-point road underdogs in this one, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

If you need some help with your lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 7 showdown.

Who Should I Start in Fantasy Football

Start Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers: The Deebo Samuel fantasy managers were waiting for finally showed up in Week 6. He looked like his dominant, explosive self, turning 6 targets into 6 catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Normally a matchup with Stephon Gilmore and the Patriots would spell bad news for a wide receiver, but all 6 of Deebo's catches were behind the line of scrimmage. Now back to full health, expect Kyle Shanahan to keep scheming up ways for his WR1 to rack up yards after the catch – especially with Raheem Mostert now headed to IR.

Start Cam Newton, QB, New England Patriots: Things could not have gone worse for Cam Newton in his return to action last week. He completed 17-of-25 passes for 157 yards and 2 interceptions in a losing effort. But from a fantasy perspective, it didn't really matter. Newton still finished the day with about 17.5 points thanks to the 92 yards from scrimmage and TD he scored on the ground. His rushing volume gives him a high floor on a weekly basis, and his work as a passer is just icing on the cake. Plus, he has already recorded a 397-yard passing performance, so his ceiling is still very much there.

Sit Jamycal Hasty, RB, San Francisco 49ers: With Mostert and Tevin Coleman on the shelf, you may be tempted to pick up and start Jamycal Hasty this week. He looked impressive last week, turning 9 carries into 37 yards while clearly out-performing Jerick McKinnon. But all of his work came toward the end of the game, when Shanahan was trying to run out the clock. That's unlikely to happen again this week, with FanDuel Sportsbook putting SF as a 2.5-point road underdog. McKinnon is the only 49ers' back you'll want to start this week.

Sit Damien Harris, RB, New England Patriots: Damien Harris made waves in Week 4, turning 17 carries into 100 rushing yards against the Kansas City Chiefs. He underwhelmed in the following performance, however. The Denver Broncos check in at No. 7 in Football Outsiders' run defense DVOA metrics, and they held Harris to 19 rushing yards on 6 carries. San Francisco comes in one spot ahead of Denver in run defense DVOA at No. 6, so they're certainly capable of keeping Harris in check as well. Harris offers little as a receiver (1 target through two games), so if he's not dominating on the ground it'll be tough to justify starting him. With Sony Michel returning soon, it's probably safe to drop Harris unless you're desperate at RB.
