The Pittsburgh Steelers will aim to stay competitive in a crowded AFC North division when they take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 15 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Titans slated as narrow 1.5-point road favorites in a game that is expected to go down to the wire.
Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 15 AFC clash.
D'Onta Foreman Fantasy
Start D'Onta Foreman, RB, Tennessee Titans: It's clear that D'Onta Foreman is the running back to own in the Tennessee backfield. The fourth-year pro has now seen at least 13 carries in each of the last two games and scored his first touchdown of the season in Week 14. Foreman draws a great matchup on Sunday as the Steelers have posted the third-worst rush defense DVOA rating, according to Football Outsiders, in the NFL. Pittsburgh is also allowing a league-high 5.0 yards per carry, which give Foreman a ton of upside in this one. Fantasy managers can slide him into a FLEX spot with confidence this week.
Chase Claypool Fantasy
Start Chase Claypool, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers: Chase Claypool quietly put together another solid performance in Week 14. It was the third time in the last four games that the former Notre Dame standout saw at least 8 targets and racked up 80 or more receiving yards. Claypool has a perfect opportunity to keep his momentum going against a Titans defense that is allowing up the second-most PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs this season. Overall, Tennessee has given up 16 receiving touchdowns to the position (T-No. 25 in NFL). Claypool could easily finish as a high-end WR2 in Week 15.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Fantasy
Sit Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, WR, Tennessee Titans: Injuries to the Titans' receiving core has forced Nick Westbrook-Ikhine into a bigger role. However, he has yet to take advantage of it. The 24-year-old has failed to top 30 receiving yards in either of his last two games despite playing in over 75% of the offensive snaps. The return of veteran Julio Jones definitely throws a wrench into Westbrook-Ikhine's upside as well. The Steelers are not a difficult matchup by any means, but it's hard to trust a No. 2 WR on a team that has posted the third-highest rushing play percentage in the NFL (47.3%). Westbrook-Ikhine should stay on the bench for now.
Pat Freiermuth Fantasy
Sit Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers: Tight end Pat Freiermuth has quickly become one of Ben Roethlisberger's favorite red zone targets. It has made him solely a touchdown-dependent TE option in fantasy football, though. The rookie out of Penn State hasn't surpassed 40 receiving yards in any of his last three games and is averaging 3.5 receptions per game. It's important to point out that the Titans are allowing the sixth-fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs this year, which includes just 3 touchdowns. There are better options out there at the TE position in a do-or-die fantasy playoff matchup.
