Wednesday Night Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Ravens vs Steelers Week 12 Game

The Pittsburgh Steelers (10-0) look to remain undefeated on the season as they host the 6-4 Baltimore Ravens. This game has moved around quite a bit, as it was originally set for Thanksgiving, but is now set to be played on Wednesday, Dec. 2 due to covid protocols. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds list Pittsburgh as 10-point home favorites.
If you need help with your fantasy football lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for the Week 12 Ravens-Steelers showdown.
Gus Edwards Fantasy
Start Gus Edwards, RB, Baltimore Ravens: Though it looked like Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins had a chance to play on Wednesday, it's now looking like Gus Edwards will be Baltimore's lead back in Week 12. On volume alone, he's a strong play even in a difficult matchup. With Lamar Jackson, Ingram and Dobbins all unavailable, Edwards should be looking at 20-plus carries tonight. He probably won't be as efficient as he was against Pittsburgh in Week 8, when he turned 16 carries into 87 yards and a TD, but he should be in for a decent outing on Wednesday.
Chase Claypool Fantasy
Start Chase Claypool, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers: Chase Claypool has been a breakout rookie wide receiver this season as he has 10 touchdowns in 10 games played so far. Claypool has seen an average of 10.0 targets per game over the past four weeks and has posted 50-plus receiving yards five times this season. Although this is a tough matchup as the Ravens have only given up 5 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers all season (T-No. 1 in the NFL), Claypool did score against them back in Week 8. The Steelers are going to pass the ball no matter the matchup and Claypool's consistent production makes him a must-start this week as well as moving forward.
Marquise Brown Fantasy
Sit Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens: Many fantasy football managers believed this could be a breakout season for Marquise Brown, but that simply hasn't been the case. Brown has posted four straight games without surpassing 40 receiving yards and has scored only 2 touchdowns this season. Not to mention Brown is coming off of a game in which he caught none of his three targets. It doesn't get any easier for Brown in Week 12 as he now faces a Steelers' defense that only allowed him to catch 1 of 2 targets for a touchdown last time they went head-to-head. Brown's lack of production simply means he should stay on your bench this week.
Ben Roethlisberger Fantasy
Sit Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers: Ben Roethlisberger is a major reason why this Steelers team is still undefeated, but that doesn't mean he is a must start every week in fantasy football. Roethliserger only threw for 182 yards against the Ravens in Week 8 and was sacked twice. Baltimore is giving up 217.0 passing yards per game this season (No. 7 in the NFL) as well as just 6.1 yards per passing attempt (No. 3 in the NFL). Look for the Steelers to focus on the running game in this AFC North battle. Roethlisberger is a borderline QB1 in fantasy football moving forward, but this is a bad spot for him.
