Travis Kelce Fantasy Football Outlook Makes Him TE1 and Top-12 Overall Player in 2021

For the past five seasons, Travis Kelce has finished as the top tight end in PPR fantasy leagues. Heading into the 2021 campaign, fantasy managers should expect no different.

The nine-year NFL veteran isn't just a force for fantasy purposes, but he's made his way into the NFL history books. Thanks to a 1,416 receiving yards mark in 2020, Kelce became the only tight end in NFL history with five 1,000-plus yard seasons. And, he's done that in five straight.

Travis Kelce Fantasy Value

Kelce enjoyed a career year in 2020, scorching opposing defenses for career-high marks in receptions (105), yards (1,416) and receiving touchdowns (11). He's the favorite target for the league's best quarterback in Patrick Mahomes, and fantasy managers should expect more of the same in 2021.

When looking at Kelce's fantasy value, it's mostly a conversation about where to draft him in comparison to your top wide receiver targets. Only three wideouts finished with higher fantasy outputs in 2021 – Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs.

When it comes to fantasy value, treat Kelce like a top-five wide receiver. He's just that valuable.

Currently, Kelce checks in as TE1 with an average draft position (ADP) of 7.3, according to FantasyPros PPR projections. The Duel's preseason PPR rankings show Kelce as TE1 and a top-11 candidate across all positions.
