Tennessee Opens as Ridiculous Home Underdog Against Alabama in Early Odds for 2020 Matchup in Knoxville

The Alabama Crimson Tide haven't lost to their long-time rival Tennessee Volunteers since 2006, and it certainly doesn't look like the oddsmakers believe that pattern of dominance is going to come to an end this year either.

Even with the 2020 college football offseason experiencing some unprecedented spring delays and cancellations, the odds and spreads around more than 100 of this fall's biggest matchups are now available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Alabama vs Tennessee Spread 2020

Sitting months away from the 102nd edition of one of the SEC's biggest rivalries, Alabama has already opened as a compelling 15-point favorite to beat Tennessee on the road in Knoxville later this fall, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Despite an active 13-game losing streak to Bama, the Volunteers did last beat the Crimson Tide at home in Neyland Stadium back in 2006. However, Alabama has won the past six meetings on the road since then, and the Tide project to be yet another top-5 program in the 2020 season already.

There's still plenty of time for things to change between now and this 2020 rivalry kickoff, but the Crimson Tide remain overwhelming early favorites for the time being. Barring any scheduling changes we may see, Tennessee is currently set to host Alabama at Neyland Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020.
