The Pittsburgh Steelers posted their 16th consecutive winning season under head coach Mike Tomlin. Unfortunately, a 9-8 record was not enough to get the Steelers into the playoffs, missing the NFL postseason for the first time since 2019.

Steelers fans hope that their team's offseason moves and adjustments will get them back into the playoffs next season. The good news is that the 'Black and Yellow' faithful won't have to wait too long to see their favorite players in action as the NFL has officially released Pittsburgh offseason workout dates.

Steelers Offseason Schedule

The Steelers are set to begin their offseason workout program on Monday, April 17. It opens 10 days before the 2023 NFL Draft, where they currently hold seven picks. The best of the bunch is the 17th overall selection, giving Pittsburgh a shot at drafting someone capable of starting in Week 1.

Each of the NFL's 32 teams is allowed to conduct 10 total days worth of organized team activities (OTAs). The Steelers' first batch of OTAs lasts May 23-25 before the second go from May 30 to June 1. The final round will then take place between June 5 -8.

Every team is also holding a mandatory minicamp for veteran players. The Steelers' three-day minicamp kicks off on June 13 and will allow fans to see some of the new offseason acquisitions in action, like cornerback Patrick Peterson and linebacker Cole Holcomb.

For those looking forward to seeing the new crop of first-year players, the starting date for the rookie minicamp is still up in the air. Teams can hold their rookie minicamps any time after May 15, however, official start dates have yet to be announced.

Steelers Super Bowl Odds

If the Steelers impress in early offseason workouts, their supporters are bound to wonder if they have what it takes to win a championship. Unfortunately, they have an uphill battle ahead of them. The Steelers' +5000 odds to win Super Bowl LVIII are tied for No. 21, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
