The Pittsburgh Steelers had a disappointing year in 2019, highlighted by Ben Roethlisberger's season-ending injury. Despite looking mediocre, at best, Pittsburgh still managed to finish with an 8-8 record last season.

With Roethlisberger on schedule with his recovery and seeming more motivated than ever to be ready to play, the Steelers are favored to return to the postseason. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Steelers have -152 odds to make the playoffs and +126 odds to miss out.

Returning Big Ben at quarterback should jump start what was a lackluster offense last season. Pittsburgh averaged just 5.8 yards per pass attempt, which was tied for the second-lowest in the league.

The presence of competent quarterback play and a downfield threat should also help out the running game. The Steelers did not have a rusher over 500 yards, and they had just seven rushing touchdowns in total all season long. This is a big dip from their 16 rushing touchdowns the season prior.

If Roethlisberger is able to lead even an average offense to complement this tough-minded defense (fifth-fewest points allowed), they will be a tough team to beat in the AFC and they will be in the race to make the playoffs all season long.
