As the New Year and halfway point of the NBA season approaches, Tyler Herro is leaving no doubt who's the league's best sixth man. The Miami shooting guard has improved his scoring (20.2), rebounding (4.9) and assists (3.9) per game in his third season for the Heat.

Herro is now -160 to win Sixth Man of the Year on FanDuel Sportsbook. His closest challengers are Kelly Oubre Jr. (+1000) of the Charlotte Hornets and Montrezl Harrell (+2100) of the Washington Wizards, who just went on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list. Oubre has moved up sharply from +3500 a month ago, and he's come off the bench to score at least 18 points in 14 of his last 16 games for the Hornets.

Hero started the year as a longshot of +3000 to win Sixth Man behind preseason favorite and defending Sixth Man award winner Jordan Clarkson, who is currently sixth on the list with odds of +3600.
