The Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggled in their Week 2 preseason loss to the Tennessee Titans. Regardless, the NFL Preseason remains an important time for players vying for roster spots. Tampa Bay faced some tough decisions over the weekend with the second training camp cut date approaching.

Tampa Bay has made their second round of cuts to get down to 80 players.

Tampa Bay announced four roster cuts to get down to Tuesday's 80-man limit in addition to one injury waiver. This included cuts to outside linebacker Quinton Bell, safety Nate Brooks, wide receiver T.J. Simmons and safety Lawrence White. Running back Troymaine Pope was waived/injured.

This group includes a pair of undrafted rookies in Simmons and White. Brooks went undrafted in 2019 and has spent time on the practice squads of several teams including the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens. Bell appeared in five games for the Buccaneers last season while Pope owns three years of NFL experience dating back to 2016, including 24 total appearances and 140 career rushing yards.

Here's the full list of when cuts will need to be made during the preseason.

Teams will trim down to 80 players by Aug. 24, and down to 53 players by Aug. 31.
