The Clemson Tigers have arguably been the most dominant program in college football over the past few years. As such, it should come as no surprise that Clemson could have a bunch of players drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

With that in mind, let's take a look at some projected landing spots for Clemson's top NFL Draft prospects.

3. A.J. Terrell, Cornerback – Detroit Lions (No. 35 Pick)

A.J. Terrell is a really solid corner, and if he falls out of the first round, he'd be a great fit for the Detroit Lions at the top of the second. Last season, the Lions had the league's fourth-worst pass defense by Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics. They've been frequently linked to Ohio State's Jeff Okudah, but if they don't take him near the top of round one, Terrell could come in and be an impact player from day one.

2. Tee Higgins, WR – Green Bay Packers (No. 30 Pick)

This is one of the most loaded wide receiver classes in quite some time. Tee Higgins isn't the top-ranked wideout in the class, but he's a big-bodied talent who can really help a team at the next level. There are few teams more WR-needy than the Green Bay Packers. Last season, Davante Adams was the only WR on the team with more than 500 receiving yards. With a clear need at the position, Higgins would be a great fit in GB.

1. Isaiah Simmons, LB – Carolina Panthers (No. 7 Pick)

Isaiah Simmons is probably the most versatile player in the draft. Capable of lining up all over the defense, he'd be a fantastic fit with the Carolina Panthers. They've already lost a ton of talent on the defensive end, and they were the league's worst run defense by DVOA last season. He'd instantly provide an upgrade to a linebacking corps that just lost Luke Kuechly to retirement.
