The NFL Playoffs are in full swing, and only four teams from each conference remain, with each believing they have a chance of making the Super Bowl. For some, like the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers, that reality seems more likely than others.
With the No. 1 seeds in each conference being favored to make the big game, it's no surprise that the quarterbacks of those two teams, Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers, are the opening favorites to win Super Bowl MVP, according to a FanDuel Sportsbook prop bet.
At +320, Mahomes has the edge over Rodgers (+550) in the opening odds for Super Bowl 55 MVP. These two quarterbacks are also in the race for league MVP, but it appears Rodgers has that award all but locked up.
Both Rodgers and Mahomes have taken home Super Bowl MVP in their lone championship wins. Rodgers earned the award in 2010 after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers, while Mahomes is the reigning Super Bowl MVP after taking down the San Francisco 49ers last year.
Fellow QBs Josh Allen (+850), Drew Brees (+1000), Lamar Jackson (+1100) and Tom Brady (+1200) round out the top six. Packers wideout Davante Adams is the top non-QB in the Super Bowl 55 MVP odds at +2400.
