Parris Campbell Injury Update Boosts Michael Pittman Jr. Fantasy Value

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell suffered a knee injury in the team's Week 2 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He had to be carted off the field.
Though there's nothing concrete on his status as of yet, any extended absence would obviously hurt his fantasy value.

Parris Campbell Fantasy Outlook
Campbell impressed in Week 1, looking like the clear No. 2 receiver in Indianapolis behind T.Y. Hilton after hauling in a team high in catches (6) and receiving yards (71). While there is no final word on Campbell's injury, if he misses time, other Colts wide receivers stand to see an uptick in volume.

Michael Pittman Jr. Fantasy Value
Rookie wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. looks to be the one that would assume that No. 2 role in the event of Campbell's extended absence. He had a quiet Week 1 with only 2 catches, but it's clear the talent is there.
The Colts had a pass-heavy approach in Week 1, with Philip Rivers seeing 46 attempts, and that is certainly good news for Indianapolis' receivers.
Campbell missing extended time could turn Pittman into a viable FLEX option for fantasy managers.
