Packers Power Ranking
The Packers have been great all year, but they took things to another level when they defeated the formerly undefeated Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. What makes that even more impressive is that Green Bay accomplished it without their top three wide receivers.
When it comes to offense, the Packers have been a middle-of-the-pack team, averaging 24.0 points per game (T-16th). Rodgers has been his usual self, tallying 67.1% of his completions for 1,894 yards and 17 touchdowns to 3 interceptions.
Davante Adams was a standout before contracting COVID-19, averaging a career-high 106.3 yards per game while scoring three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Aaron Jones has been consistent out of the backfield, averaging 100 total yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in seven games.
The Packers defense has really been getting things done lately. They've surrendered just 15.0 PPG over Green Bay's last three games — the third-best total in that span. As long as the defense continues playing this way, the team should be fine until the offense kicks things up a notch again.
Even though the Packers are No. 1 on ESPN's rankings, they still have to convince people that they're the Super Bowl 56 favorite. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing Green Bay at +950 to win this year's championship, putting them in a tie with the Dallas Cowboys for fourth-best odds.
