After a thrilling victory over then-No. 3 Ohio State, the Oregon Ducks are rolling and just jumped into the top five of the AP rankings.

However, the wins have been costly from an injury standpoint for the No. 4 Ducks.

Former five-star recruit Justin Flowe is expected to miss the remainder of the 2021 regular season as he deals with a foot injury.

Justin Flowe Injury Update

Flowe's tenure in Oregon hasn't been off to the greatest of starts. A five-star recruit coming out of high school, the linebacker played just one game during his freshman season before a torn meniscus ended his year.

The rehab process was lengthy, but Flowe returned in Week 1 of the 2021 college football season and was brilliant, recording 14 tackles and one forced fumble in a win over Fresno State. He was ruled out prior to the Ohio State matchup and will have to overcome another lengthy recovery process.

Oregon's start to the year has come with multiple obstacles. All-American defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux suffered an ankle sprain in Week 1 and didn't suit up for Ohio State, either. The presumed 2022 No. 1 NFL Draft pick has no timetable for his return.

The Ducks look to keep rolling with the punches and now own the sixth-best odds (+4000) to win the National Championship on FanDuel Sportsbook.
