While many college football fans might tell you the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry is already the biggest and best the sport has to offer, this year's matchup in Columbus is bringing much more to the table just bragging rights, though.

After leading the entire college football world in all-time winning percentage among FBS programs for quite some time, Michigan's claim to that title was actually lost to Boise State in Week 4 earlier this season.

A little more than two months later, and the Wolverines could be in jeopardy of being surpassed again before season's end. However, this time, Michigan could be surrendering its win-percentage milestone to none other than arch-rival Ohio State in Week 14.

Boise State Football All-Time Record

Before we get ahead of ourselves with a dream rivalry scenario like that, let's take a look at what needs to happen in Week 13 to set that stage first. Boise State currently boasts the highest winning percentage among FBS teams at 458-168-2 (.7309) all time and 9-1 on the season.

Ohio State Football All-Time Record

Assuming the Broncos win out to finish 11-1 and 460-168-2 (.7317), neither Ohio State nor Michigan can catch them this year. Through Week 12 of the 2019 season, Michigan currently owns a 961-344-36 (W-L-D) all-time record (.7301), while Ohio State is sitting at 921-325-53 (.7294).

Ohio State is currently an 18.5-point home favorite over Penn State, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and Michigan is favored by 9.5 points over Indiana on the road.

Regardless of either Michigan or Ohio State's outcome in Week 13, the winner of this year's Week 14 clash will emerge with the claim to the second-highest winning percentage in college football history.

Thus, Ohio State will either become 10-1, 921-325-56 (.7288), or 11-0, 922-325-53 (.7296), before facing either a 9-2, 962-344-36 (.7303), or 8-3, 961-345-36 (.7295), all time Michigan opponent in Week 14.

With the second-best all-time winning percentage on the line, there's clearly more at stake in this Week 14 clash than usual.

Overall, if Michigan can win out with an upset over Ohio State and improve to 10-2, 963-344-36 (.7305), the Wolverines could actually surpass Boise State in Week 14 if the Broncos finish 10-2, 459-169-2 (.7302) or worse.
