NL Cy Young Odds: Sandy Alcantara Moves to Top in Mid-June on FanDuel Sportsbook

The Miami Marlins' World Series odds are falling, but star pitcher Sandy Alcantara is rising in the National League Cy Young race. FanDuel Sportsbook's NL Cy Young odds show Alcantara (+400) has passed Corbin Burnes (+550) this week as the favorite win the award.
Alcantara sports a 1.61 ERA to rank No. 2 in the league just ahead of Joe Musgrove (1.64), who's climbed to tie Burnes for second in the odds. Alcantara has allowed just 55 hits in 83 innings with only 4 HRs allowed and a league-best 3.5 WAR.
Alcantara and Musgrove both have 6 wins and WHIPs below 0.95 to rank top-5 in the NL along with Burnes, who has a 2.48 ERA and tops the NL with 11.4 strikeouts per 9 innings.
Carlos Rodon (+1800) and Walker Buehler (+2500) have fallen off this week, but moving up again is LA Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin. He's 7-0 with a 1.58 ERA and just 31 hits allowed in 57 innings. Gonsolin (.157) and Alcantara (.190) boast the best batting average against in the National League.
There's plenty of season ahead as the summer months commence, and that means injuries will undoubtedly pop up that impact this race. An oblique strain recently sidelined Max Scherzer for 6-8 weeks, and his Cy Young odds have plummeted from +500 to +5000.
Here's a look at the rest of the NL CY Young odds leaders on FanDuel Sportsbook.
