Nikola Jokic Joins Elite Company With Historic Performance

The Denver Nuggets routed the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, taking down the defending champs in a 134-117 blowout at home. The game was close in the first half before Denver pulled away in the second half, blowing the game open in the third quarter.
Nikola Jokic once again played a massive role for the Nuggets, erupting for a triple-double with 22 points, 16 assists and 14 rebounds. He also added a steal and a block for good measure.
Nikola Jokic is one of only 7 players in NBA history to record back-to-back games of 20+ PTS, 10+ REB. and 15+ AST.

Nikola Jokic Triple Double
It was a deja vu performance for Jokic, who posted a similar stat line during Denver's win on Tuesday. Jokic finished that one with 28 points, 18 rebounds and 15 assists against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Only a handful of players in NBA history have ever had back-to-back games like that. Jokic became the seventh player ever to tally 20+ points, 15+ assists and 10+ rebounds in consecutive games, joining Oscar Robertson (three times), Russell Westbrook (twice), Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Luka Doncic and James Harden -- all of whom are Hall of Famers or likely will be after they retire.
It was just another day at the office for Jokic, however, puts up those kinds of numbers on a nightly basis. In fact, he's averaging a triple-double for the entire season with 25.0 points, 11.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists per game. The assists are particularly incredible for a center who's running the Nuggets' offense like a point guard.
Coming off back-to-back MVPs, Jokic is currently favored to win his third in a row with -115 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds.
