NBA DFS 3/28/2022

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Monday, 3/28, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 3/28

Trae Young Fantasy

Target Trae Young, PG, Atlanta Hawks ($10,100): Point guard Trae Young is one of the most expensive players on the slate tonight, but for good reason. The fourth-year pro has been carrying the Atlanta Hawks on his back as of late in attempt to make the playoffs. Young has put up at least 33 points and 8 assists in two of his last three games and draws a perfect matchup, too. The Indiana Pacers allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing PGs. Keep in mind Young is averaging 38.0 points, 8.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds across three matchups with the Pacers this season. Trust the Atlanta star to keep that success going on Monday night.

Keldon Johnson Fantasy

Target Keldon Johnson, PF/SF, San Antonio Spurs ($6,700): It's never a bad idea to ride the hot hand and Keldon Johnson is shooting the lights out for the San Antonio Spurs. The 22-year-old has shot 54.8% from the floor over his last two games as well as 46.2% from beyond the arc. While waiting to see if he can keep it up may seem like the right move, Johnson faces the Houston Rockets tonight. Of course, Houston owns the worst defensive efficiency mark in the NBA and allows the most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Johnson picked apart the Rockets to the tune of 28 points and 7 rebounds back on February 4. Expect a similar performance tonight.

Tre Mann Fantasy

Target Tre Mann, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder ($6,100): This start recommendation comes down to the fact that Tre Mann should see extended minutes tonight due to the absence of starter Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Those extended minutes are also coming against a Portland Trail Blazers team that has allowed an average of 124.3 points per game in the last week. Portland allows the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards and has no one fast enough to keep up with Mann on the perimeter. The Florida product has poured in at least 20 points in three of his last five games. That stat alone makes him worth his price tag.

Pascal Siakam Fantasy

Avoid Pascal Siakam, PF, Toronto Raptors ($8,600): Yes, Pascal Siakam has become the Raptors' go-to option on the offensive end of the court this season. He simply runs into a nightmare matchup tonight. The Boston Celtics are in the midst of a six-game winning streak in which they led every game by at least 20 points at one time or another. Not only that, but Boston owns the best defensive efficiency mark in the NBA and allows the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing power forwards. This game is going to be a grind all night long for Siakam, which makes exploring other players at the position a smart idea.

Nikola Vucevic Fantasy

Avoid Nikola Vucevic, C, Chicago Bulls ($7,600): Nikola Vucevic's dip in price is still not enough to warrant him a spot in your DFS lineup tonight. The Chicago big man has failed to post a double-double in four of his last five games and now has to face a motivated New York Knicks squad at Madison Square Garden. New York is allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing centers this season as well as only 43.3 points in the paint per game (No. 3 in NBA). That's not good news considering Vucevic is shooting just 31.6% from beyond the arc this season. The downside greatly outweighs the upside here.
