NBA DFS 11/29/2021
Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Monday, 11/29, NBA DFS action.
FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 11/29
Joel Embiid Fantasy
Target Joel Embiid, C, Philadelphia 76ers ($10,100): Joel Embiid returned from a nine-game absence with a monster outing. He racked up 42 points and 14 rebounds on Saturday, en route to 68.3 FanDuel fantasy points. Now he gets a golden chance to keep things up against the Orlando Magic. Orlando has allowed the sixth-most points per game (110.9) to opponents and seventh-most rebounds (47.2) this season, making this a prime matchup for the big man.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Fantasy
Target Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, SG/PG, Oklahoma City Thunder ($8,000): Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was a target the last time he played the Houston Rockets, and he delivered with 48.9 fantasy points. SGA did it all against the lowly Rockets, posting 15 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals on Nov. 17. Houston is in the bottom five for most PPG surrendered this season, which spells good things for SGA as a scorer and distributor in this contest.
Joe Ingles Fantasy
Target Joe Ingles, SG/SF, Utah Jazz ($4,900): Joe Ingles remains one of the league's best marksmen. He's hitting from 3-point range at a 40.0% clip on 4.8 attempts per game this season, and he's in a rhythm with 6 makes on 9 attempts over the last two games. That's great news with the Portland Trail Blazers up next. Portland allows opponents to shoot the second-highest 3-point percentage (38.5%) against them this season along with the third-most makes given up (13.7) per game. Ingles could provide a serious bang for your buck if he catches fire against this porous defense.
Jimmy Butler Fantasy
Avoid Jimmy Butler, SF/SG, Miami Heat ($11,000): Jimmy Butler has struggled to score the ball as of late. He's failed to record more than 18 points in each of his last three games. Butler has dealt with a couple of minor ailments this season already, and he's now questionable for this game due to a tailbone injury. Butler being limited in any way during his cold stretch is bad news against the Denver Nuggets. Denver holds opponents to 103.5 PPG, the sixth-lowest mark in the league. Don't expect Butler to pop off on Monday.
Damian Lillard Fantasy
Avoid Damian Lillard, PG, Portland Trail Blazers ($8,600): Damian Lillard's shooting struggles returned in his last outing. He shot just 5-of-15 from the field and 2-of-7 from deep while putting up a disappointing 16-point, 6-assist performance. Every star will have off nights, but Lillard's off nights have come in bunches to begin the season. He could be in for another rough outing against a Jazz team that ranks fifth in both defensive rating and fewest opponent PPG. Lillard is way too much of a risky to trust in this matchup.
