Mountain West Tournament Odds: San Diego State and Utah State are Favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook

The Mountain West college basketball tournament tips off from UNLV's campus at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 10. Top seed and regular season champion San Diego State (+125) is the favorite in the latest conference tournament odds posted at FanDuel Sportsbook.
San Diego State enters the tournament with an 11-game winning streak. But the Aztecs lost two of their three conference games at No. 2 seed Utah State (+260) in mid-January. Utah State also beat San Diego State in the last two Mountain West Conference championship games. That includes last year, when coach Brian Dutchers' SDSU team finished the season 30-2 and was set to become a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament before it was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The Mountain West Network carries Wednesday's opening round coverage between the bottom six-seeded teams. Thursday's quarterfinal action along with Friday's semifinals is on the CBS Sports Network.
The top five teams begin play in the quarterfinals, and that includes No. 3 Colorado State (+400) in the late game Thursday night. Colorado State has their sites on the tournament title, and the Rams beat both San Diego State and Utah State this year in splitting the season series.
Number 4 seed Boise State (+400) and No. 5 Nevada (+1800) are matched up to play Thursday afternoon.
Saturday night's championship game will be televised on CBS at 6:00 p.m. ET.
