Ole Miss wide receiver Elijah Moore was one of the biggest risers in the pre-draft process. Originally pegged as a mid-round pick, rumors suggesting that Moore would sneak into Round 1 began to swirl as we approached Thursday. But Day 1 came and went and the speedy slot receiver is still on the board.

Arguably the best player available heading into Day 2, Moore should have plenty of suitors near the top of the second round. With that in mind, here are the most likely destinations for Moore on Friday night.

Elijah Moore Draft Stock

3. New York Jets (No. 34)

The New York Jets went all-in on helping Zach Wilson last night, shipping out two 2021 third-round picks to secure offensive linemen Alijah Vera-Tucker. If they want to keep that trend going in Round 2, Elijah Moore could be the pick. He'd be an excellent option in the slot for New York, especially with Corey Davis and Denzel Mims operating on the outside. While Jamison Crowder is currently holding that position down, it wouldn't be a shock to see NYJ move him via trade to recoup some of the assets lost in that Round 1 deal. Plus, even if Crowder sticks around, Moore could still be the pick. He's only on a one-year deal and the Ole Miss prospect would be an excellent long-term replacement.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 33, No. 45)

Another team that went all-in on helping their prized rookie QB, Moore would be a nice fit with the Jacksonville Jaguars. While this team has holes all over the defense, the Jaguars actually have a solid enough offensive line and a great one-two punch in the running game with James Robinson and Travis Etienne. Moore could be dynamic in the slot with DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault on the outside. Picking Moore would allow Jacksonville to surround Lawrence with a ton of high-level talent. He could be tough to pass up if he's still on the board at No. 45, though he's very much in play at No. 33 as well.

1. Detroit Lions (No. 41)

If Moore slips out of the top-40 picks, it's hard to see him falling past the Detroit Lions at No. 41. This roster has holes pretty much everywhere, but pass-catcher might be the most glaring need. It's hard to imagine Jared Goff doing much of anything with Breshad Perriman and T.J. Hockenson serving as his only established receivers. Put an electric talent like Moore (and hopefully another rookie) into an offense that's anchored by fantastic O-Linemen in Taylor Decker, Frank Ragnow and rookie Penei Sewell, and Goff could surprise some people in 2021.
