Michael Thomas Latest Achievement in Record-Setting 2019 Season Dominance Over NFL is Laughably Great
By Max Staley

In Week 16, Michael Thomas broke Marvin Harrison's all-time record for the most receptions in a single season. He'll get another chance to put some distance between himself and Harrison in Week 17 too, but the gap between Thomas and the rest of the NFL is already pretty astounding.
In fact, Thomas is actually outperforming entire teams' wide receiver corps by himself.
Michael Thomas this season now has:
— Field Yates (@FieldYates) December 23, 2019
* More catches (145) than all Broncos, Colts, Eagles, Raiders, Ravens and Vikings WRs
* More receiving yards (1,688) than all Eagles, Raiders and Ravens WRs
* More receiving TD (9) than all Chargers WRs
That's right, Thomas' 145 receptions are more than six different teams' wide receivers have combined. His 1,688 receiving yards are more than three different clubs' wideouts have produced, and his nine touchdowns are more than the all the Los Angeles Chargers' WRs have totaled thus far in 2019.
It's truly a historic season from Thomas. He's even hauling in 82.4 percent of his targets, which is unsurprisingly the best mark among all wide receivers in the league. Adam Humphries is second with a catch rate of 78.7 percent, and he's seen 129 fewer targets than Thomas has this season.
.@Cantguardmike is having one of the greatest receiving seasons of all time.

This is undoubtedly one of the best seasons a wide receiver has ever had at the NFL level, and we'll see if Thomas can continue to build upon it when he takes the field in Week 17 against the Carolina Panthers.
