One of the biggest shockers during the 2022 NFL Draft was the Baltimore Ravens trading wide receiver Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals. Brown was fresh off of a breakout 2021 season and looked like he'd be part of Lamar Jackson's WR corps for years to come, but instead, he'll now join his former college teammate Kyler Murray in Arizona.

After news of his trade broke, Brown took the time to dedicate a heartbreaking message to Jackson on Twitter.

Marquise Brown Trade

Brown called Jackson his "brotha" and said he wanted to play with the 2019 NFL MVP "forever." This tweet just shows close the two players became over their three years together, and it's sad to see them split up.

Jackson was clearly stunned by the news. He made sure to let the Ravens know how he's feeling about his favorite wideout playing somewhere else now.

The exploding WR market likely played a huge role in Baltimore sending out a promising player who looked to be getting better. Brown set career highs in receptions (91) and yards (1,008) last season while also hauling in 6 TDs.

It remains to be seen how the Ravens will bolster their depth after the trade. Rashod Bateman, one of the team's two first-round picks in 2021, is currently in line to lead this receiving corps in his second career season.
