Lions Bring Back Former Pro Bowler to Dan Campbell's Coaching Staff

On the heels of their first winning season in five years, the Detroit Lions have an important offseason ahead. The Lions clearly showed their ability as a legitimate contender last year and have the potential to make the playoffs if they keep trending in the right direction.
Roster tweaks are not the only offseason priority in Detroit, however. On Thursday, the Lions announced they will bring back a former Pro Bowler to work as the new cornerbacks coach on Dan Campbell's staff.
Detroit is making another addition to the coaching staff, and I think you guys are going to love this one. Former Lions Pro Bowler Dre' Bly will be coaching the cornerbacks.

Dre' Bly joined Detroit's coaching ranks on Thursday. He previously spent 11 years as a player in the NFL from 1999-2009, playing four seasons for the Lions and making back-to-back Pro Bowl appearances with them in 2003 and 2004.
Although Bly has no NFL coaching experience, he worked as a cornerbacks coach with his alma mater, North Carolina, from 2019-2022.
