Lamar Jackson COVID Update Muddies Week 13 Fantasy Outlook
By michael obermuller

After the largest Covid-19 outbreak of the NFL's 2020 season, the Baltimore Ravens and fantasy managers were both left without quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 12. Baltimore will hope to rebound in Week 13 against a struggling Dallas Cowboys team, but there's still no word on if Jackson will suit up, which clouds his fantasy football outlook.

Lamar Jackson Fantasy Outlook
After testing positive, Jackson began a 10-day quarantine, causing him to miss Wednesday's matinee. Even if he is cleared in time for Week 13, the Ravens may not risk throwing him back out without proper conditioning.
In 10 starts for the Ravens this year, the reigning MVP is averaging 17.5 completions, 194.8 passing yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game. His 19.7 fantasy points per game (PPR) rank him as QB11 this season.
Any fantasy manager with Jackson on the roster should keep a close eye on his status. This would be a disappointing matchup for him to miss, as the Cowboys have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game (19.1) to QBs this season. The decision to start Jackson may come down to a leap of faith for fantasy managers.
Robert Griffin III and Trace McSorley Fantasy Outlook
If Jackson isn't able to suit up, and you're in need of QB help, then Robert Griffin III could be worth consideration, but he's also dealing with a hamstring injury. Trace McSorley would be next in line at starting QB, but he should only be considered in the most dire of circumstances.
