Most teammates around the league have reunited recently at OTAs to put in work together. While some veterans are known to organize their own workouts away from the team, this time can be valuable for building chemistry, especially for young quarterbacks looking to take the next step.

However, it appears Arizona Cardinals QB Kyle Murray hasn't been involved his team's workouts so far. And that could be a mistake.

Albert Breer reports that Murray will join his team "soon" after working out on his own in Texas. That could prompt questions about the example he's setting by skipping out on the team's offseason program so far.

The former No. 1 overall pick is entering an important third season after showing little improvement in the passing game from his rookie year. Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen just took his talents to the next level in his third season and could contend for the MVP this upcoming year. Cardinals fans should hope Murray is on a similar development track, but him being absent from team workouts is notable.

Cincinnati Bengals signal-caller Joe Burrow recently said that it was important to show up to his team's OTAs despite not being 100% recovered from his injury to set an example. Comparing his approach to the elder Murray's raises some concerns ahead of the 2021 campaign.
