Kyle Pitts has been flying up the draft boards ever since he put together a stellar season with the Florida Gators and for good reason. The NFL Draft prospect has the size of a tight end and the route running abilities of a wide receiver.
Pitts showcased his unique skill set with an absolutely dominating performance at his pro day. The 20-year-old all-around playmaker is expected to be taken within the top-10 picks of the draft.
Kyle Pitts 40-Yard Dash Time
Pitts reportedly ran an unofficial 4.44 40-yard dash on Wednesday morning. That is an impressive time for any player to run, but especially for one that stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 245 pounds.
That 40-yard dash time wasn't the only impressive part of Pitts performance.
Kyle Pitts Wingspan
There is no doubt that Pitts is unlike any player drafted in the last few seasons. In fact, his wingspan measured at 83 inches, which is longer than any WR or TE in the NFL in the last 20 years.
That will definitely come in handy as Pitts faces better competition in the NFL and goes up to contest for 50/50 balls down the field.
Kyle Pitts Broad Jump
Plus, Pitts' broad jump of 10' 9" would've been the top number amongst tight ends in the draft last year. His mark would've outdone Dalton Keene and Cole Kmet by over four inches.
At this point, it would be hard to find a major flaw in Pitts' game and it's certainly possible he comes into the NFL wreaking havoc during his rookie season.
