The bad news for the Denver Broncos wide receiver corps keeps on rolling in. After seeing KJ Hamler leave the Broncos' Week 3 matchup early with a knee injury, the worst possible news was revealed on Monday. Hamler suffered a torn ACL and will be out for the remainder of the season.

KJ Hamler Injury Update

Denver is already thin enough at wide receiver as Jerry Jeudy remains on the IR list for at least two more weeks. Jeudy is dealing with a high-ankle sprain.

For Hamler, this continues a concerning injury trend for the young wideout. A hamstring injury limited Hamler during his rookie campaign and the second-year wideout has been underwhelming in Jeudy's absence thus far.

For Denver, Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick continue to be the top targets for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, as well as tight end Noah Fant. Patrick leads the team with 2 touchdowns while Sutton and Fant have combined for 27 receptions on 37 targets.

Hamler ends his sophomore campaign abruptly, seeing 10 targets through Week 3 and 5 receptions for 74 yards.

The Broncos sit at 3-0 on the season and hold +2800 odds to win Super Bowl 56 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
